When we talk about appearance we do not mean physical beauty, but to be well dressed, with impeccable and neat clothes, and according to the place where I work (a nightclub hostess is not the same as a high-level restaurant), with makeup and hairstyle matching the place and the work schedule.
It also refers to our body language, our ability to communicate clearly and politely. Our attitude is part of our appearance and should express confidence, trust and kindness.
As we mentioned before, good appearance does not refer to physical beauty, but it is important to stay in good shape since it is a job in which you must be on your feet for many hours and at times very dynamic. Being fit not only improves our appearance but we gain agility and have less chance of suffering an injury.
*Keep in mind that our clothing, in addition to being tasteful and impeccable, must be comfortable since it is a dynamic job. If we use shoes with heels, we must choose a comfortable option that allows us to stand for many hours without suffering pain or discomfort that would make us lose focus and patience.
