Chemical Contamination can be caused by certain materials such as detergents, additives, preservatives, toxic metals, nail polish. It should be checked that all cleaning and disinfection products are separated from food and outside production areas.
It is important to highlight, in the face of this contamination, the health effects caused by additives.
Health effects of additives: The consumer has the right to know what he is eating and drinking, however, most foods contain several additives whose properties we ignore. Studies show that additives used in a significant number of food products can cause various reactions in consumers, and especially in children. It is proposed to establish worldwide a new legislation that obliges the consumer to be adequately informed, through the labelling of food products, about the exact content of additives: denomination, quantity and side effects or contraindications. Also notify the buyer about the risks involved in the consumption of those additives that can cause poisoning when combined with other antagonistic and those others that are cumulative.
