Different places to work and job hunting

Camila 26 de septiembre de 2025
One of the best things about being a waiter is the wide variety of options that this profession offers us when looking for a job.

When looking for a job as a waiter, we must consider the wide variety of options.

We can work in Restaurants, Bars, Cafeterias, Cruise Ships, Hotels, Beach Bars, Clinics, Theaters, Breweries, Universities, and we can do any of these in your own country or abroad.

These places can be formal or informal. They can be full time (Cruise), day or night, full time, part time, seasonal work.

It is important when looking for a job, to take all of this into account. Know what hours I intend to work, what type of public I would like to serve, if I am qualified for a formal job or five stars, or if I would be better off in an informal place. If the place where I intend to work is easily accessible from my residence, etc.

The variety of gastronomic places to work gives us the possibility of choosing the most appropriate to our moment of life, which is why it is important to ask yourself all these questions before deciding where to work.

Working around the world is a very viable option for those who have experience in gastronomy, it is an opportunity to get to know new destinations, new cultures, languages and live a great experience!
