We can always grow within our workplace, aiming for a higher position such as Assistant Manager, General Manager, we can even become Partners of the premises or Owners of our own enterprise.
This requires the will and willingness to learn. We must be interested in knowing and learning the work of all sectors of the restaurant; by the clients, their tastes and interests and all the information that we can collect and assimilate added to the experience and why not, some extra training.
The work of waiters gives us good preparation for different types of jobs. We become experts in customer service, it helps us develop the ability to multitask and quickly solve problems and manage people.
Good waiters are great salespeople, so they are suitable for work in shops.
Without a doubt, if we have learned from our work, we will have a solid foundation to start in any other field.
