7 Cosas que nunca debe hacer un director de restaurante

As well as with colleagues, problems can arise with bosses or managers.

When it comes to a problem with a superior, I must always understand why, ask myself if it is poor performance or bad attitude on my part, if I am doing something wrong, if I can improve it. Once the problem is identified, I propose to my superior a solution, let him know that I understood my fault and that I am willing to improve.

If I perceive that the problem has nothing to do with my performance, and that I am being treated unfairly, if I am being harassed or mistreated, I must seriously consider whether it is possible to continue working at that place. When the superior in question is not the highest authority, I can always turn to the highest authority, or to Human Resources, and raise the issue.

If the situation of harassment, whether emotional, sexual or psychological abuse, were with the highest authority, it is best to seek legal advice and leave the job immediately.

The best way to avoid problems with superiors is to do my job well, comply with the schedules and tasks for which I was hired, have initiative, not wait to receive orders and always give my best.
